What is a Professional CV?

A professional CV, in theory, is one which has been written by a professional writer.

We say ´in theory´ because not all CV companies use professional writers, and not everyone who gets paid for writing CVs does it as their main job. Some companies take on freelancers who do it as a bit of a sideline. Freelancers come from a wide variety of backgrounds (many of which do not involve writing, CVs, or the career sector).

Consequently, with the above in mind, it is pretty inevitable that the quality of professional CVs varies enormously depending upon whom you entrust with your curriculum vitae.
